Robin Sharma says it beautifully :
“At the end of the day, when you’re on your deathbed,I think only one thing is going to matter most of all. Have you mattered?”
“When you’re on your deathbed, you’re going to ask yourself that fundamental question. Have I lived my life in a way that is meaningful and that allowed me to express the best within me and that ultimately elevated and inspired the people that I surrounded myself with? And have I left the world better than I found it? Or have I spent my days been really busy but really not achieving very, very much?”
“Do not postpone being your best. Because life is very unexpected. We don’t know when our last day will come. Today is all we really have. So have a lot of fun. But also, never lose sight of your legacy.
Never lose sight of your mountaintop. Never lose sight of living your values. So when you do get to the end, you will look back at your life. And you will feel proud of how you have lived. – Robin Sharma “

Recently, over the span of less than two months, three of my friends/mentors had passed on. All three of them had made significant impact on the lives of those they met in their lifetime. They have touched the hearts of many and each of them have lived a fulfilled life reaching out to others. One thing I know for sure, they did not die empty because they have lived a life of purpose.

Someone once asked me :”At the end of your life, how do you want to be remembered?”
I believe God wants me to be of service to others. I’m God’s servant. I simply answered : “I want to be remembered as someone who is committed to serve with great love and with humility.”
You have the power to choose either to live an extraordinary life of unlimited possibilities, or do you choose to live an ordinary life without having the courage to be different and challenging the status quo?
Never take for granted those that you love will be around tomorrow. Tell them today how much they mean to you. It does not have to be in words, you can show them that you care for them with your action of thoughtfulness and love.
We all have fears, and the fear of risk keeps us from pursuing our passion and live life of adventure, however, the greatest risk is the risk of not taking action. When you risk nothing you will gain nothing.
“If you wait until you can do everything for everyone, instead of doing something for somebody you’ll end up doing nothing for nobody. – Malcom Bane “
